GN 451.1 / GN 451.2 / GN 451.3 Cylindrical Type Vibration Isolation Mounts

Another of our latest product additions is our GN 451.1 / GN 451.2 / GN 451.3 Cylindrical Type Vibration Isolation Mounts with Stainless Steel Components.

These RoHS-compliant vibration isolation mounts, also known as vibration mounts, anti-vibration mounts, vibration bobbins or rubber bumpers, are suitable for the elastic mounting of machine units such as motors, compressors and pumps. These mounts are simple and economical construction elements. Their resilience and their broad range of different sizes and dimensions allow them to be used in many applications that require vibration isolation.

GN 451.1 type has two threaded studs, GN 451.2 has one tapped hole and one threaded stud, and GN 451.3 has two tapped holes. Isolation mount body is made of natural rubber (NR), vulcanized, 55 durometer (shore hardness +/-5°). Cover plate is stainless steel and tapped inserts/threaded studs are made of stainless steel, molded in.

GN 119.3 Door Locking Mechanisms with Cabinet U-Handle

Today we're introducing our GN 119.3 Door Locking Mechanisms with Cabinet U-Handle, in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant door locking mechanisms are used when the application requires both a locking mechanism and a handle. The cabinet U-handle with integrated lock is an attractively designed and cost-effective solution. Locking mechanisms have a drawing range of 10 mm. Locking is achieved by turning the door lock clockwise.

The U-handle is made of zinc die cast, with a black or silver powder coated textured finish. The cam is stamped sheet steel, with a zinc plated, blue passivated finish. Lock housing and spindle are zinc plated steel with a blue passivated finish. The spacer bushing is aluminum.

GN 5345 and GN 5345.4 Stainless Steel Three Lobe Knobs

Here's the scoop on some more of our newest products, our GN 5345 and GN 5345.4 Stainless Steel Three Lobe Knobs, available in inch and metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant lobe knobs have a smooth and sealed surface. They are particularly suitable for use where hygiene requirements are high. Their shape allows relatively high torques to be applied.

GN 5345 knobs are made of stainless steel, European Standard 1.4305 (American Standard 303). GN 5345.4 knobs are of A4 stainless steel (American Standard 316L). Both have a matte shot-blasted finish. A polished finish is available upon request. Knobs are offered with tapped blind bore, plain blind bore, tapped through holes, and blank versions.

GN 115.7 Zinc Die-Cast Door Handles with Latch Mechanism

Today we're introducing our new GN 115.7 Zinc Die-Cast Door Handles with Latch Mechanism, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant door handles are used when the application requires both a locking mechanism and a handle. A rotary movement limited to 90°—e.g. of the triangular spindle of type DK—shifts the key-bolt behind the door frame. The key-bolt is beveled, making the door-closing action easier. The choice of 22 differently shaped catch plates provides a range of latching distances from 4 to 50 mm, or .157 to 1.97 inches.

Door handles are made of die-cast zinc, with a powder coated textured finish in either black or silver. Lock hardware is zinc-plated steel with a blue passivated finish. Available types of latch designs offered are triangular spindle, with square spindle A/F 7, square spindle A/F 8, screw driver slot, and double bit.

GN 440.5 Stainless Steel Leveling Feet With Tapped Socket

Introducing to you today our new GN 440.5 Stainless Steel Leveling Feet with Tapped Socket, Plain, with Elastomer Base Cap or Vulcanized Rubber Pad, available in inch and metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant leveling feet are simple, economically priced components. They will bear static loads from 7 to 16 kN. Base diameters from 40 to 80 mm (1.57 to 3.15 inches) are available. 

Leveling feet have a tapped socket of stainless steel, European standard No. 1.4301 (American Standard Series 304), shot-blast finish. The assembly screw is of stainless steel A2, loctited in place. The optional plastic base cap is made of a black thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with 80 Shore A hardness. The optional vulcanized non-skid pad is black Nitrile Butadiene rubber, with 70 (+ / -) 5 Shore A hardness.

EN 239.4 Plastic Hinges with Integrated Switch

We're sharing with you about another innovative new product added recently to our line, EN 239.4 Plastic Hinges with Integrated Switch, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant hinges were designed for monitoring guard doors and covers of machines and production equipment. Opening the door activates the switch contacts, which then interrupts a protective circuit via a break contact (NC) and at the same time signal the door opening by closing a make-contact element (NO). The integrated design, which features an ultrasonically-welded enclosure, makes these hinges compact, tamper-proof and easy to mount. J.W. Winco also offers matching EN 239.3 hinges without safety switch.

Hinges are matte black glass fiber reinforced plastic, with hinge pins of stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 303). Versions with switch on the right or switch on the left are available. Four types are offered: connector plug on top, connector plug on back, cable connection on top, and cable connection on back. Cable lengths of 2 or 5 meters are available.

GN 227.4 A4 Stainless Steel Spoked Handwheels

We've added another quality machine component in stainless steel, our new GN 227.4 A4 Stainless Steel Spoked Handwheels, in inch and metric sizes, with and without revolving handle.

These RoHS-compliant handwheels are often used where a noncorrosive component is necessary, such as the marine and food industries. They are renowned for their high mechanical strength and are not affected by shock and knocks. They are of an attractive design and shape at a reasonable cost.

Handwheel body is pressed A4 (AISI 316L) stainless steel, with a shot blast satin finish. Solid hub is also made of A4 (AISIS 316L) stainless steel, welded to body. Inch size versions are available with round bore without keyway. Metric sizes are offered with round bore without keyway, round bore with keyway, and square bore. Various additional bore sizes, keyways, set screw holes are also available upon request. Diameters range from 160 to 400 mm (6.3 to15.74 inches).

EN 222 Technopolymer Plastic Hinges with 4 Indexing Positions

Among our latest new products is our EN 222 Technopolymer Plastic Hinges with 4 Indexing Positions, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant hinges are very stable, and notable for a high resistant torque of 3 Nm in four indexing positions. All detent positions have a guaranteed resistant torque of ~3 Nm (which is the torque that must be applied to free the detent device of the hinge). This hinge has been tested with more than 20.000 opening and closing cycles, and the value of the resistant torque was unchanged.

Hinges are made of matte black glass fiber reinforced plastic (Polyamide PA), with hinge pin of stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 303). They are offered in two types: 2x2 bore for DIN 7991-M6 countersunk screws, and 2x2 bore for ISO 4014-M6 countersunk screws.

GN 51.7 Retaining Magnet Assemblies with Ball Knob or Key Ring, with Rubber Jacket

Today we're sharing with you our new series GN 51.7 Retaining Magnet Assemblies with Ball Knob or Key Ring, with Rubber Jacket, in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant magnet assemblies have a zinc-plated steel housing and a magnet of neodymium, iron and boron (NdFeB). The rubber jacket is made of black Elastomer (TPE). Assemblies are offered with matte black technopolymer plastic (Polyamide PA) ball knob or nickel-plated steel key ring.

These retaining magnet assemblies with rubber jacket are especially suitable for applications where the surface is easily marred. Also, the magnets have an increased coefficient of friction, which creates high lateral retaining force. They are temperature resistant to 175 °F (80°C). Offered diameters are 22, 31 and 43 mm, with nominal pulling forces of 35, 75 and 85 N respectively.

DIN 580-NI Stainless Steel Lifting Eye Bolts

Another of our recently added products is our DIN 580-NI Metric Size Stainless Steel Lifting Eye Bolts, in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant eye bolts are offered in two materials: forged A2 stainless steel (American Standard 304 series) and forged A4 stainless steel (American Standard 316 series). For both types, the contact face is machined.

These eye bolts are available in thread sizes from M8 to M24, and accommodate vertical loads from 1,400 to 18,000 N. Eye diameters run from 20 to 50 mm. Complete operating instructions and further specifications for use are included.

GN 340.5 Stainless Steel Leveling Mounts with Tapped Socket and Rubber Pad

Here's another great new product from J.W. Winco:  GN 340.5 Stainless Steel Leveling Mounts with Tapped Socket and Rubber Pad, in inch and metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant leveling mounts feature a tapped socket of stainless steel with a shot-blast finish. They are available with two pad options: black pad inlay of Nitrile Butadiene rubber, or white pad inlay of Santoprene® (TPE) rubber. The black pad offers high resistance to swelling when in contact with oils and fuels. The white pad has outstanding resistance to solvents and acids. It also has excellent dynamic fatigue life, and is resistant to ozone and atmospheric influences.

Inch and metric base diameters run from 1.97” to 4.72” and 50 mm to 120 mm. Thread options for the tapped sockets range from 5/16-18 to 3/4-10 and from M8 to M20. Load ratings are 8 to 20 kN (1,800 to 4,500 lbf).

GN 319.2 Phenolic Plastic Revolving Ball Knobs

We'd like to introduce today our new GN 319.2 Phenolic Plastic Revolving Ball Knobs, Long Shoulder Type, Tapped, in inch and metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant revolving ball knobs can be utilized instead of other revolving handles, i.e. with handwheels. The tapped shoulder allows the ball knob to be mounted from the underside via a screw or bolt. The knob can then be easily mounted to sheet metal in a variety of thicknesses, flat bar, or castings, to create a quick cranking or turning mechanism. The hand piece is black phenolic plastic (Duroplast PF), and the shoulder is made of zinc-plated, blue passivated steel, blind tapped.

GN 128.2 Stainless Steel or Aluminum Weldable Hinges

Today we want to introduce to you our new series GN 128.2 Stainless Steel or Aluminum Weldable Hinges.

These RoHS-compliant hinges are produced from drawn weldable profiled stainless steel or aluminum extrusions. The hinge pin is retained in the lower half. Offered materials include European Standard No. 1.4308 cast stainless steel (American Standard 304C15), European Standard No. 1.4401 A4 stainless steel (American Standard Series 316), or weldable aluminum 3.3206 (American Standard 6060).

Sizes range from 60 to 180 mm in length (2.36 to 7.09 inches). Metric and inch sizes are interchangeable.

GN 300.5 Threaded Stud Type All-Stainless Steel Adjustable Levers

Our new product intro today is GN 300.5 Threaded Stud Type All-Stainless Steel Adjustable Levers, in inch and metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant adjustable hand levers are the result of modern industrial design. Their all-stainless steel construction makes them suitable for applications in the food processing and chemical industries.

The levers have a sand blasted satin finish and are offered in two types, Type IS with screw with internal hexagon, or Type AS with screw with external hexagon. The Type AS version complies with the sanitary requirement of “preventing dammed-up fluid.”

These adjustable levers have proven to be ideal wherever parts have to be clamped in a confined space or in a particular lever position. The insert is connected to the lever via serrations which can easily be disengaged. Pulling the lever upwards disengages the serrations allowing it to be swiveled to the ideal clamping position. When releasing the lever, the serrations automatically re-engage.

GN 741 and GN 742 Aluminum Fill/Drain Plugs

The latest products we'd like to introduce to you are our GN 741 and GN 742 Aluminum Fill/Drain Plugs, available with metric or BSPP parallel threads.

These RoHS-compliant plugs are made of turned aluminum with a matte shot-blast finish. They are available in plain, or with fill or drain symbol laser engraved. The GN 741 types have an NBR synthetic rubber seal, while the GN 742 versions have a seal of Viton rubber. The seal is retained in a groove undercut in the mating face, which prevents it from dropping out and from extruding when the plug is tightened. For this reason the seal can be of a softer material which offers better sealing.

Metric pipe thread sizes from M14 x 1.5 to M42 x 2.0 are available, as well as BSPP parallel threads from G ¼” to G 1½”.

GN 751-AL Aluminum Fork Heads (Yokes) with Shaft Safety Retaining Clip

Today we're sharing with you about our new GN 751-AL Aluminum Fork Heads (Yokes) with Shaft Safety Retaining Clip, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant fork heads are mainly used with pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders, and consist of a fork head with KL-shaft safety or SL-shaft safety retaining clip. Type KL is a “single” shaft safety retaining clip; only one side secures the pin in place (therefore if bumped in the wrong way, may slip out of place). Type SL is a “double” shaft safety retaining clip; both sides are raised to secure the pin from both directions. To remove this retaining clip you must pull up on the spring sheet metal.

Fork body and pin are anodized, black aluminum. The fork pin shaft safety retaining clip is spring steel, hardened and tempered, zinc-plated and blue passivated. Due to the anodized coating of the fork head and pin, this component is virtually non-wearing.

WN 648 Self-Lubricating Rod End Bearings

Our latest new product introduction is WN 648 Self-Lubricating Rod End Bearings, offered in inch sizes.

Rod ends are used in controlling and linking mechanisms in all types of machines. These RoHS-compliant rod end bearings are suitable for high load, low speed applications with hanging angles, requiring linear, rotational or oscillatory motions. They are offered in both tapped and threaded stem versions.

The rod end bearings are made of zinc-plated low carbon steel, with right or left hand threads. Ball socket is low carbon, zinc-plated steel, case hardened. The external ring is made of a special oil impregnated bronze material which makes these rod ends self-lubricating, maintenance-free, and guaranteed lowest friction. In addition, these joints have less increase of clearance after longer operating hours than rod ends with PTFE-surface outer races, and therefore higher life expectancy.

U-Handles with Customized Lengths and Bends

Bet you didn't know that J.W. Winco, Inc. offers a variety of U-handles that can be purchased in customized lengths and bends to suit particular applications.

Our RoHS-compliant selection of tubular handles include Aluminum Tubular Handles in the GN 333 offset version and the GN 333.1 straight version, in inch and metric sizes. Both have zinc die-cast legs. The same materials are used in GN 334 and GN 334.1 Aluminum Oval Tubular Handles, with different styles of legs, also in inch and metric sizes. GN 366 is another style of aluminum handles, with fiberglass reinforced technopolymer plastic legs, in metric sizes. Those materials are likewise used for GN 667 handles in metric, which have socket head cap screws for mounting. GN 669 System Handles in metric sizes are all aluminum, and offered with tapped holes or socket head cap screws, and can be mounted back to back.

The tubular handles on these items can be cut to any custom length, or bent to required angles, giving the user the option of purchasing "standard" components that function as custom parts.

DIN 906 and DIN 906-NI Threaded Plugs with Tapered Thread

We're sharing with you today our new DIN 906 and DIN 906-NI Threaded Plugs with Tapered Thread, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant threaded plugs are used to close bore holes with cylindrical tapered internal thread. The tightness depends on the medium, pressure, temperature and material pairing. The design with GPC thread coating provides a higher degree of safety.

The plugs are offered in zinc plated, blue passivated steel or in stainless steel. Both are available with or without a GPC (Precote 5) thread coating. Metric tapered pipe thread sizes from M8 x 1.0 to M48 x 1.5 are available, as well as BSPT British Standard Pipe Tapered, thread sizes R 1/8 to R 1½.

GN 920.1 Wedge Clamps

Today we're introducing our new GN 920.1 Wedge Clamps, available in metric sizes.

Clamping with these RoHS-compliant wedge clamps is achieved via the socket head cap screw and the clamp wedge, which function by moving both jaws outward. When the screw is loosened, the clamp wedge returns to its original position via an internal return spring, which, in turn, loosens the tension.

The wedge clamp is blackened steel with wedge surfaces hardened. The socket head cap screw is DIN 7984, black oxide steel grade 10.9. Tensile strength of socket head cap screw is 1000 N/mm2. Four types are offered: with smooth clamping jaws, with serrated clamping jaws, with prism-shaped jaws, and with two mounting threads for attachment jaws.

Wedge clamps are ideal for multiple clamping operations, but can also be used for clamping individual work pieces. The long hole in the clamp wedge serves to compensate for tolerances in the work piece.
