GN 490 Aluminum Adjustable Two-Way Clamping Joints

Today we're introducing our new GN 490 Aluminum Adjustable Two-Way Clamping Joints, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant clamping joints clamp rods or tubes via a V-groove, allowing a greater Ø tolerance to be bridged. The pressure spring makes clamping and releasing easier.

Clamping joints are available with socket head cap screw or with adjustable lever. Clamp mounting is of aluminum, in either a plain, matte tumbled finish or a black powder coated, textured finish . Socket cap screws are DIN 912 and hexagon nuts are DIN 934; both are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The GN 300.1 adjustable lever has a zinc die-cast handle with a silver powder coated, textured finish. Insert and screw are AISI 303 stainless steel; spring is AISI 301 stainless steel; spacer bushing is AISI 303 stainless steel.

No. 6312 V Crocodile Clamps with Adjustable Holders

Today we're here to introduce you to our new No. 6312 V Crocodile Clamps with Adjustable Holders, with or without Clamping Bolt or Stud Bolt, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant Crocodile Clamps are infinitely adjustable, easily expanded for every clamping height. They are used for a variety of clamping applications including those using T-grooves and threaded holes. Compression piece and adjustable holders are connected permanently to the clamp body, so the crocodile clamp can be used quickly. The clamp body is equipped with two varied clamping surfaces and can be easily turned to use one side or the other. Due to the fully assembled construction, this makes for easy set-up and handling on equipment. Crocodile clamps are especially suitable for use on injection molding machines and various presses.

Clamp body, compression piece and back support are tempered steel with galvanized finish. Clamping bolt is DIN 787; stud bolt is DIN 6379; washer is DIN 6340; nut is DIN 6330B. All these components are made of tempered steel with a blackened finish.

GN 711.2 Aluminum Rulers

Today we're introducing our new GN 711.2 Aluminum Rulers with 3.3 mm Mounting Holes, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant rulers are offered in six different horizontal or vertical configurations. They have imprints that are resistant to weak acids and lye solutions, and against solvents if exposure is brief. A self-adhesive version is available upon request. Also available are accompanying GN 711.3 Aluminum Indicator Arrows.

Rulers and arrows are made of aluminum with natural anodized finish. Their surfaces are imprinted in black with numbers and scale markings etched (i.e., aluminum colored). All ruler versions are offered in lengths from 50 to 1,000 mm.

GN 71752 Fork Heads (Yokes), Plain Fork Type, Steel or Stainless Steel

Today we're excited to share with you another new item in our product line: GN 71752 Fork Heads (Yokes), Plain Fork Type, Steel or Stainless Steel, available in inch sizes.

These RoHS-compliant fork heads are mainly used with pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders. They are made of either zinc-plated steel with a blue passivated finish, or stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4301 (American Standard Series 304).

Steel and stainless steel versions are available in standard or left hand threads from ¼-28 to 5/8-18, and lengths from 1.22 to 3.27 inches.

GN 927.7 Stainless Steel Clamping Levers with Eccentrical Cam with Stainless Steel Contact Plate

We're introducing you today to our GN 927.7 Stainless Steel Clamping Levers with Eccentrical Cam with Stainless Steel Contact Plate, Tapped Type, in inch and metric sizes.

Levers are offered in Type A with adjustable contact plate, or Type B with fixed contact plate. These RoHS-compliant clamping levers are used for rapid clamping and releasing operations. In contrast to a clamping operation utilizing only threads and a lateral force, these levers permit torque-free clamping via a combined downward vertical and cam actuated motion. The lever has been designed to insure that its movement cannot exceed the maximum clamping position. With these clamping levers, thrust forces of up to 8 kN (1800 lbf) can be obtained.

With the Type A version, the distance between the eccentrical cam and the contact surface is adjustable by means of a fine threaded knurled nut. This permits the maximum clamping force to be set by a simple adjustment. In addition this also permits the selection of a preferred lever position in relation to the clamping lever pin.

Lever and components are of AISI 303 stainless steel. Contact plate is stainless steel, Super Duplex 255 material, hardened. Type A setting nut is also made of AISI 303 stainless steel.

Inch Size GN 421 Nylon Plastic Hollow Knurled Knobs with Threaded Stud

Today we're introducing our new inch size versions of GN 421 Nylon Plastic Hollow Knurled Knobs with Threaded Stud (added to our selection of metric size versions).

These RoHS-compliant knobs are made of black nylon plastic with a smooth, glossy finish. The threaded stud is zinc plated steel, molded-in. Various threads and stud lengths are offered.

The straight knurling on the knob surface provides a comfortable yet secure grip for fine adjustments or clamping. Knobs have a maximum heat resistance of 110°C (230°F). For certain minimum quantities, other colors are available upon request.

GN 2404 Steel Telescopic Linear Slides with Partial Extension

Today we're introducing an item from one of our newest product lines: GN 2404 Steel Telescopic Linear Slides with Partial Extension, in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant telescopic linear slides are used, for example, for storage drawers and sliding doors, or in jigmaking for a sliding motion in a linear direction. If the support screw is removed on both sides, the sliding distance extends the length of the rail plus an additional distance of slightly more than half the length of the rail. External elements should limit the maximum sliding distance; the supports of the rail have been designed to guard against the inadvertent extraction of the runner from the rail.

Rail and runner are made of heat treatable steel, zinc plated, blue passivated finish, with the raceways hardened. Balls are made of anti-friction bearing steel, hardened. Ball cage is zinc plated steel.

GN 51.6 Steel Retaining Magnet Assemblies, Disc-Shaped

We've added a great new component to our retaining magnets line: GN 51.6 Steel Retaining Magnet Assemblies, Disc-Shaped, with Two Internal Threads and Rubber Jacket. The assemblies are available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant components are a shielded magnetic assembly with rubber jacket. They are especially suitable for applications where the surface is easily marred. Also, these magnets have an increased coefficient of friction, which creates high lateral retaining force.

The magnet housing is made of zinc plated steel. The magnet is neodymium, iron and boron (NdFeB), and the rubber jacket is black elastomer (TPE), 73 shore. Dimensions of these magnet assemblies also match those of J.W. Winco’s clamp mounting units in series GN 473, GN 477 and GN 480, and can easily be assembled together via the tapped holes in the magnet assembly.

GN 6336.13 Nylon Plastic Star Knobs with Loss Protection

One of our new, innovative products is our GN 6336.13 Nylon Plastic Star Knobs with Loss Protection, Tapped Type, available in inch and metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant hand knobs can be attached to a base element with the help of a ball chain or a retaining cable. Knobs are supplied ready assembled (with lanyard ring, with lanyard ring and retaining cable, or with lanyard ring and ball chain).

Hand knobs are made of a thermoplastic nylon material (Polyamide PA) with a matte black finish. They have tapped inserts made of stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 303). Lanyard ring option is GN 111.6, stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4310 (American Standard Series 301). Retaining cable option is GN 111.2, stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4310 (American Standard Series 301), coated with clear plastic. Ball chain option is GN 111.5, stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4310 (American Standard Series 301).

GN 350.5 and GN 350.5-NI Steel and Stainless Steel Leveling Sets

Today we'd like to introduce you to two new series of products, our GN 350.5 and GN 350.5-NI Steel and Stainless Steel Leveling Sets, with Spherical Washer, with Locknut, in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant leveling sets are used for leveling, adjusting, and linking operations. GN 350.5 versions are made of zinc plated, blue passivated steel, 1.7225 (42 CrMo 4 V), and GN 350.5-NI versions are stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 303).

Leveling sets consist of a threaded upper sleeve and a tapped lower sleeve. The fine thread allows precise, stepless setting and locking using a DIN 1810A hook wrench. An anti-rotation disk serves also as a height limiter for the maximum height. The spherical washer allows precise installation of two non-parallel planes at a required gradient up to ~4°.

GN 50.5 Retaining Magnet Assemblies, Disk-Shaped, with Tapped Hole

Another great new product has been added to our line: GN 50.5 Retaining Magnet Assemblies, Disk-Shaped, with Tapped Hole, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant magnets are a shielded magnetic assembly. To ensure that the magnetic forces are not impaired, the mounting screws must be made of non-magnetic material. For magnets with d1 diameter </= 40 mm, the magnet surface is exposed. For d1 diameters </= 50 mm, the magnetic surface of the magnet is covered with a plastic cap.

The magnet housing is zinc plated steel. The magnet is Neodymium, iron and boron NdFeB (ND type) . Cover cap is technopolymer plastic (Polyamide PA). Assemblies are temperature resistant to 175°F (80°C).

GN 453.1 / GN 453.2 Vibration/Shock Absorption Mounts

We're pleased to share with you today about our new GN 453.1 / GN 453.2 Vibration/Shock Absorption Mounts with Stainless Steel Components, Conical Type, in inch sizes.

These RoHS-compliant mounts, also known as shock absorbing mounts, vibration mounts, anti-vibration mounts, vibration bobbins or rubber bumpers, are frequently used as end-stop bumpers, e.g., for conveyor trolleys. They absorb most of the accumulated kinetic energy on impact. They act as dampers and prevent damaging shock and rebound, and are also used as sound dampers. They can also be used as leveling feet. The parabolic shape of these isolation mounts generates progressive resilience characteristics: Impact and shock effects are absorbed more gently.

Mount body is made of natural rubber (NR), vulcanized, 55 durometer (shore hardness +/-5°). The cover plate is stainless steel, molded in. Versions with either tapped inserts or threaded studs are offered; both are made of stainless steel, molded in.

WN 580 Inch Size Lifting Eye Bolts

Today we're introducing our new WN 580 Inch Size Lifting Eye Bolts.

Eye bolts are made of forged1030 carbon steel, ASTM A489, zinc-plated. The lifting eye meets MS51937 specification.

These eye bolts are offered in a thread range from ¼-20 to 1-8, with stud lengths from 1 to 2.5 inches. They have a rated capacity of 500 to 9,000 pounds.

GN 933.5 Stainless Steel Hexagon Head Screws with Brass Tip, Nylon Tip, or Spherical Pivot

Time to share with you another new product in our line: GN 933.5 Stainless Steel Hexagon Head Screws with Brass Tip, Nylon Tip, or Spherical Pivot, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant hexagon head screws are used when pressure dents or damage to the clamping surface must be avoided. The spherical pivot type has a diameter d4 that is smaller than the core diameter d1 of the thread. This makes it suitable for use with thrust pads GN 631 / GN 631.5 which must be ordered separately.

Hexagon head screw body is made of stainless steel, European standard 1.4301 (American Standard 304). Available with spherical pivot, or with tip made of either brass or plastic (Polyacetal POM).

GN 927.5 Stainless Steel Clamping Levers with Eccentrical Cam

EN 236 Plastic Adjustable Alignment Hinges

Today we're introducing our new EN 236 Plastic Adjustable Alignment Hinges, suitable for inch or metric applications.

These RoHS-compliant adjustable alignment hinges allow for technically and visually perfect positioning and alignment of a door in its frame. The serrations at the wings of the hinge (cross serration) and at the adjusting bushings create a form lock which prevents the hinge from moving after installation. The tips of the arrows mark the 0 reference point for easier installation. Depending on installation position (rotating by 90°) of the adjusting bushings, the hinge is adjustable both in vertical and in horizontal directions.

Hinge body is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (Polyamide PA), matte black. The hinge pin is stainless steel, European standard 1.4305 (American Standard 303 series).

GN 6319.1 Steel and Stainless Steel Spherical Washers, Seat and Dished Combined Type

For Cinco de Mayo, we are sharing with you about our new GN 6319.1 Steel and Stainless Steel Spherical Washers, Seat and Dished Combined Type, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant spherical washers provide an “undetachable” combination of male and female spherical washers similar to DIN 6319. This simplifies storage and allows for fast and efficient installation. The stainless steel versions are used for clamping in corrosion-free environments.

Steel washers are case hardened all round, depth .2 to .4 mm, hardness (550 + 100) HV 10. Stainless steel washers are European standard 1.4305 (American standard 303 series). Both types are offered to fit bolt thread sizes M6 to M20.

EN 239.6 Technopolymer Plastic Hinges with Integrated Safety Switch

Today we're excited to introduce you to our EN 239.6 Technopolymer Plastic Hinges with Integrated Safety Switch, in metric sizes.

These hinges were designed for monitoring guard doors and covers of machines and production equipment. Opening the door activates the switch contacts, which then interrupts a protective circuit via a break contact (NC) and at the same time signal the door opening by closing a make-contact element (NO). The contact blocks are fitted with fo¬¬rce-opening slow-action contacts, i.e. they will definitely be separated when activated and have no hysteresis. The integrated design of the contact blocks makes these hinges compact, tamper-proof and easy to mount.

Housing, hinge pin and mounting bushings are made of technopolymer plastic (Polyamide PA), black matte finish. Offered types are connector plug on top, connector plug on bottom, cable connection on top, cable connection on bottom, and cable connection on back. Versions include contact block with 2NC/2NO and contact block with 3NC/1NO. Options for types with cables are 2 or 5 meter cables. Matching hinges without safety switch can also be purchased. Note that these hinges can be used with GN 965 T-Nut Assemblies and 30/40 mm aluminum profile systems with slot widths of 8 mm, as well as GN 968 T-Nut Assemblies and 30/40/45 mm aluminum profile systems with slot widths of 10 mm.

GN 440.1 Steel Leveling Feet with Fixing Lug

Today we'd like to share with you about our new GN 440.1 Steel Leveling Feet with Fixing Lug, available in inch and metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant leveling feet are simple, economically priced components. The base and the tapped socket are made of zinc plated and blue passivated steel (base is stainless steel for rubber pad type). Assembly screw is of stainless steel, loctited into stud.

Three types are offered: one with base cap of black elastomer (TPE) plastic, 73 shore; one with vulcanized non-skid pad of black Nitrile Butadiene rubber, 70±5 shore, and one plain. The feet will accommodate static loads ranging from 8 to 16 kN (1,800 to 3,600 lbf.) and are available in a large range of base diameters and thread sizes.

DIN 6336-NI Stainless Steel Hand Knobs

These RoHS-compliant hand knobs are made of cast stainless steel, European Standard 1.4308 (American Standard No. CF-8), with a matte, shot-blast finish. The knobs are available blank, with threaded blind bores, or with tapped through bores.

Inch size threads from ¼-20 to ½-13 are offered, along with metric threads from M6 x 1.0 to M12 x 1.75. Special inch or metric bores, threads, and drilled and pinned threaded studs available upon request.

GN 423 Aluminum Rack Handles

Today we're introducing our new GN 423 Aluminum Rack Handles, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant door handles have been designed with dimension to accommodate 19" rack and enclosure layouts. Handle tube and handle legs are joined by lightly pressing the legs into the tube, with the result that special lengths are easy to achieve. Thanks to the included mounting screws, these rack handles can be easily and economically installed.

Handle tubing is aluminum, and handles legs are glass fiber reinforced plastic (Polyamide PA). The handles are available in Type A—mounting from the bottom with self-tapping screws, and Type B—mounting from the top (operator's side) with socket head cap screws and flange nuts. Three color options are offered: Anodized, natural color handle tubing, matte black legs; anodized, black handle tubing, matte black legs; and anodized, natural color handle tubing, matte light gray legs.

GN 21 Stainless Steel Leveling Feet with Turned Base

Today we invite you to check out our GN 21 Stainless Steel Leveling Feet with Turned Base, without lag bolt holes, in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant leveling feet have a base of stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4301 (American Standard Series 304). The threaded stud is of stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 303). ISO 4032 Hex nut is stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 303), and is a standard part of the assembly.

The following stud types are available: without locknut, with external hexagon below; with locknut, with external hexagon below; without locknut, with flat width below; with locknut, with flat width below; without locknut, with flat width below, internal hexagon above; with locknut, with flat width below, internal hexagon above; without locknut, with flat width below, external hexagon above; with locknut, with flat width below, external hexagon above; with adjustable sleeve; and tapped hex sleeve type. GN 129.2 Steel and Stainless Steel Hinges

Today we're introducing our new GN 129.2 Steel and Stainless Steel Hinges, available in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant hinges are used for doors which are flush with the frame on the outside. Once assembled, they cannot be unhinged. Being mounted from the inside, they are especially suitable for doors and trap doors which must not be detachable from the outside as an anti-tamper device.

Hinges are available in steel, with a zinc-plated, blue passivated finish, European Standard No. 1.4305 stainless steel (American Standard Series 303), or European standard 1.4408 stainless steel (American Standard Series 316). The steel version has a brass, nickel-plated hinge pin and hinge washer; steel hex nut and serrated washer are zinc-plated, with a blue passivated finish. Both stainless steel versions have all stainless steel parts.

GN 319.5 Revolving Ball Knobs, Long Shoulder Type, with Stainless Steel Tapped Shoulder

Another great new product recently introduced to our line is GN 319.5 Revolving Ball Knobs, Long Shoulder Type, with Stainless Steel Tapped Shoulder, in inch and metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant revolving knobs can be utilized instead of revolving handles, i.e. with handwheels. The tapped shoulder allows the revolving ball knob to be mounted from the underside via a screw or bolt, which can then be easily mounted to sheet metal in a variety of thicknesses, flat bar, or castings, to create a quick cranking or turning mechanism.

The hand piece is black phenolic plastic (Duroplast PF). The tapped shoulder is stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 303), matte shot-blasted finish. Also available is a version with stainless steel threaded spindle.

EN 450 Ball Shaped Door Catches

Today we're introducing our new EN 450 Ball Shaped Door Catches, available in metric sizes. These RoHS-compliant door catches were designed for use with both shutter doors and sliding doors.

The ball-shaped door catch consists of a catch body to be fixed to a frame and a ball to be fixed to a door. Catch body is technopolymer plastic, Polyacetal POM, matte black, and ball is glass fiber reinforced plastic (Polyamide PA), matte black.

Under specific tests, the catch showed constant performances for more than 20,000 cycles.

Also available are EN 450.1 Plastic Spacers for Ball Shaped Door Catches (bottom of page), made from glass fiber reinforced plastic (Polyamide PA), matte black. In addition to the basic spacing distances of 5, 10 and 15 mm, combinations of spacers can provide distances of 20, 25 and 30 mm as well.
