GN 927.7 All Stainless Steel Clamping Levers with Eccentrical Cam, with Threaded Stud

Today we're introducing our new GN 927.7 All Stainless Steel Clamping Levers with Eccentrical Cam, with Threaded Stud, in metric sizes.

These RoHS-compliant levers are used for rapid clamping and releasing operations. In contrast to a clamping operation utilizing only threads and a lateral force, these levers permit torque-free clamping via a combined downward vertical and cam actuated motion. The lever has been designed to insure that its movement cannot exceed the maximum clamping position. There are no loose components since all are assembled and mounted in their correct order.

Lever and components are all stainless steel. Type A features an adjustable contact plate with setting nut. Type B has a fixed contact plate. Advantage of the adjustable contact plate is that the distance between the eccentrical cam and the contact surface is adjustable by means of a fine threaded knurled nut. This permits the maximum clamping force to be set by a simple adjustment. In addition this also permits the selection of a preferred lever position in relation to the clamping lever pin.

With these clamping levers, thrust forces of up to 8 kN (1800 lbf) can be obtained. The shape of the clamping screws/nuts prevents the formation of moisture build-up. The Type B version also seals the mounting hardware bore holes and threads. The material and design of these clamping levers make them ideal for hygienic applications. GN 854 Latch Clamps with Trigger Function

Here's another innovative new product we recently introduced: GN 854 Latch Clamps with Trigger Function, available in metric sizes.

The outstanding feature of these RoHS-compliant latch clamps is their highly robust, sturdy and compact design, permitting their use under demanding conditions, e.g. exposure to high temperatures, dust, spray mist, etc. The specially designed catch allows the forced loosening of the clamp, by the clamping arm moving the pulling latch forward, e.g. for separating mold halves.

Clamping bearing/clamping arm are made of forged, weldable, blank steel. Pulling latch/bearing pins are steel, St 37, blank, and catch is sheet metal steel, blank. The clamps are available with bore for gear lever handle or with clamping arm. The former version is operated with a gear lever handle which is plugged into the latch and pulled off after operation. This saves space and has the added advantage that the gear lever handle is not exposed to adverse ambient conditions, e.g. becoming too hot to operate.

The catch can also be mounted using screws or bolts. If required, clamps and catches are also available as separate parts; for replacement, the bearing bolt is easily dismantled.
