J.W. WINCO INTRODUCES METRIC SIZE ALUMINUM MOUNTING CLAMPS WITH SWIVEL BALL JOINT

J.W. Winco, Inc., a leading supplier of standard industrial machine components, announced it now offers GN 784 Metric Size, Aluminum Mounting Clamps with Swivel Ball Joint.

GN 784 The GN 784 aluminum mounting clamps, which are RoHS compliant, allow precise and variable adjustment of the ball pivot within the rotation range. This is a particular advantage when adjusting scanners, cameras, lighting, monitors, etc. Due to the efficient clamping mechanism, only small amounts of torque with the clamping screw result in comparatively strong clamping pressure on the ball, as the force is easily applied by the clamping lever.

The mounting clamp with swivel ball joint can be mounted from below via the internal thread or together with Winco’s GN 784.1 flange, available as an accessory, using three through-holes from above. For a permanent high stop torque, the contact surfaces of the ball must be kept free of grease.

Exceeding the recommended tightening torque increases the securing of the mounting clamp with swivel ball joint in its end position, but may result in increased wear and potential failure of the clamping mechanism.

The housing is aluminum with a black anodized finish, while the base plate and ball are aluminum with a plain finish. The adjustable hand lever is zinc die cast, powder coated in silver with a textured finish, while the threaded stud, retaining screw, and set screw are stainless steel.

VIBRATION/SHOCK ABSORPTION MOUNTS, CONICAL TYPE, WITH STAINLESS STEEL COMPONENTS AVAILABLE FROM J.W. WINCO

J.W. Winco, Inc., a leading supplier of standard industrial machine components, announced it now offers GN 254 Inch and Metric Size Stainless Steel Vibration/Shock Absorption Mounts, Conical Type.
GN 254
These RoHS compliant vibration/shock absorption mounts are also known as shock absorbing mounts, vibration mounts, anti-vibration mounts, vibration bobbins, or rubber bumpers. Frequently used as end-stop bumpers, for example with roller conveyor systems, they absorb most of the accumulated kinetic energy on impact. Acting as dampers and preventing damaging shock and rebound, they also act as sound dampers. These isolation mounts are also used as leveling feet, plus versions with 40 or 70 durometer natural rubber material are available upon request.

The mount body is made from synthetic rubber, vulcanized, 55 durometer, while the cover plate and the tapped inserts/threaded studs are stainless steel, molded in.

J.W. WINCO, INC. NOW OFFERS STAINLESS STEEL SQUARE WELDABLE CAM ACTION INDEXING PLUNGERS

NEW BERLIN, WI -- J.W. Winco, Inc., a leading supplier of standard industrial machine components, announced it now offers GN 612.3 Stainless Steel Square Weldable Cam Action Indexing Plungers.
GN 612.3
These RoHS compliant cam action indexing plungers are best utilized when the pin needs to be retracted. When the lever arm is rotated 180°, the pin retracts into the indexing plunger housing. Grooves exist so the plunger pin can be held in both the non-retracted and retracted positions.

The square body can therefore be welded in any required position. In order to prevent a change in the spring load by the transferred heat of welding, spot welding the plunger body is recommended. The plastic ribbed sleeve, with maximum heat resistance of 110°C (230°F), offers an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable finger grip.

The housing, plunger pin, and spring are all stainless steel, while the optional and non-removable plastic sleeve is matte black technopolymer plastic.

J.W. Winco offers an extensive selection of inch and metric size adjustable levers, cabinet U-handles, plastic and steel hinges and locking mechanisms, revolving and retractable handles, hand wheels, hand cranks, tube connection and conveyor components, inch and metric construction tubing, shock absorption mounts, leveling mounts, hand knobs, spring, ball and indexing plungers, jig, fixture and fastening components, retaining magnet assemblies, toggle clamps, metric casters and wheels, universal joints, oil sight glasses, and metric tools for the industrial and commercial equipment industries.
